Module  4.3: Skin Appendages

Organisms have an incredible capability of modifying body structures based on survival needs. Though it may take millions of years for such structures to form, the end product can always be traced back to their origins. The appendages of human skin are all products of modified skin. In this module, you will examine some of the most important appendages, learn about their physiology and understand the value of hair appendages in numerous scientific and forensic fields.
