Module  5.3:  Skeletal System Physiology

The skeletal system is often one of the most under appreciated body systems. There are so many important physiological functions that the skeletal system does to keep the body in regular homeostasis. In this module, we will examine some the functions of the skeletal system and work to understand how these important functions can be affected if there is an imbalance.

Module 5.3 Warm-Up

- Directions: Click on one of the functions of the skeletal system below. Each will highlight a function and an imbalance related to that functions.

- In your module guide....

Describe the condition and relate that condition back to the main function that it ties in with.
