Medical Careers: Physical Therapist 

For this unit's medical connections we will be exploring the field of physical therapy. Physical therapists are often known the aid during physical rehabilitation but can offer so many different forms of help. Read the directions below for the this units medical connections section. 

Assignment: 

-  Divide your medical connections section of your module guide in half and complete the following two tasks. 

American Physical Therapy Association 

1) Click the link above and read through the information provided about physical therapy. You can also watch the video clip again for more information. For the first half of this assignment, record two pieces of information that were new and interesting to you while reading through the "about physical therapist careers" page. Elaborate on why this the presented information was new/interesting. 

2) In the second half of the medical connections section, pick one of the PT profiles towards the bottom of the page. Read through the profile and describe: 1. What is unique about this profile? 2. How does a medical background play a role in this individuals career and 3. What might a typical day look like for this individual.
