Option 1: Endocrine System Project
Basic Description:
The endocrine system is one of the bodies intricate signaling systems, delivering dozens of hormones throughout. For this project, you will become an expert in one of the body's glands and the hormones it's responsible for secreting. In doing this, you will not only learn the basics of your gland, but also the disorders and imbalances that are associated with the gland.
Requirements:
1) A PowerPoint (GoogleSlides) that covers all the information necessary (*see rubric for details). 25 pts
2) A brochure that can be used as a study tool for your endocrine gland. (*see rubric for details). 25 pts
3) A recorded presentation that covers your PowerPoint and provides visual aid. (*see rubric for details). 25 pts
TOTAL 75 Points
Option 2: Cumulative Exam
- This exam will be held on the 16th of December during our normally scheduled class time.
- It will be open at the beginning of class an closed at the end.
- It will be 50 questions and worth 50 points.
